The ABS excess mortality in 2021 shows 2,775 compared to 2022 as 20,022. This represents a 721% increase! As at 31/3/2023, the ABS states "There were 10,095 deaths due to COVID-19 in 2022 (9,732 doctor certified and 363 coroner-referred)." https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/health/causes-death/provisional-mortality-statistics/jan-dec-2022 - What many do not know is that Australian public hospitals in 2020 up to 2022 changed their protocols. The EDs used to test patients for Influenza A and B but for these 3 years, the hospitals changed the protocol to everything being "COVID suspect". As per an email I received 8.12.2022 @ 3.19am from a senior (mandate terminated) ED nurse who used to work in ED at a Melbourne hospital. This also occurred in Wollongong Hospital (as per whistleblower ED nurse). It wasn't until 2023, that testing resumed in hospitals for influenza A and B. Hence potential corruption in the data for deaths relating to COVID deaths from 2020-2022.
Thanks as ever for the curation of the culling, ugh.
